Content Evangelist

As we continue to scale, we are in need of a hands-on Content Evangelist with an understanding and genuine interested in the realtime technology space to support our content machine and community management efforts.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience running programs to activate our users, developer community and strategic partners

What You'll Be Doing:

• Execute the community growth strategy around our content operations

• Plan community content and build into our overarching content calendar ensuring community content is engaging, appropriately voiced, and relevant

• Perform processes for content creation (blogs & tutorials)

• Monitor success of the community in terms of the overall marketing strategy

• Work directly with content marketing team & community authors to generate new ideas for content

• Deliver periodic reports on the health of the community

• Liaise with key product stakeholders to help relay community feedback and other insights that are gained from or social and community platforms

• Engage with our community and encourage participation

• Run online and offline events supporting growth of our community and maintaining relationships with key influencers

You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or equivalent

• 2+ years operation experience in tech platform and community

• History managing company-wide communications; blog posts, external communication channels, email and public chat-rooms.

• A proven track record of building and maintaining online communities

- Must have previous experience with managing content

- Experience writing or editing technical content a plus

- Knowledge of AP style

- Experience with wordpress, contentful or other CMS, we will train you.

• Great influential and communication skills with the experience of building community platforms

• Project management and planning skills with deep understanding of content marketing

• Experienced in the startup environment and ability to perform under stress
